Chairul Tanjung Shares CT Way Success Principles at Lampung Financial Festival
Swan.my.id - Jakarta, CT Corp Founder and Chairman Chairul Tanjung said success belongs to everyone, regardless of family background or financial circumstances. However, he emphasized that success requires serious effort and perseverance.
“Success is everyone’s right. It does not matter whether someone is the child of a president, a wealthy person, or nobody in particular. Everyone has the opportunity to succeed, but success is not easy. It must be fought for with great effort,” Chairul said at the Lampung Financial Festival 2026 on Saturday (5/9/2026).
To help young people pursue their goals, Chairul shared 10 principles known as the “CT Way.” He described them as lessons accumulated from his experience.
CT Way Begins with Good Intentions
Chairul’s first principle is starting a business with good intentions. He said every endeavor should begin with an honest purpose because deceptive actions will not produce meaningful blessings.
The second principle is recognizing and seizing opportunities. According to Chairul, entrepreneurs must not only identify potential opportunities but also act on them. When opportunities do not exist, they should create them.
His third point is that money is not the only form of capital. While financial resources can make business easier, Chairul encouraged people without money not to give up. Effort and other forms of capital can also support a venture.
Building the Right Mindset for Success
The fourth principle is “buy the future with the present value.” Chairul explained that understanding future potential can help people take advantage of opportunities at their current value.
He then urged people to treat failure as a close friend. The sixth principle combines hard work, persistence, attention to detail, uncompromising standards, discipline, and perfectionism.
The seventh principle is trusting intuition. Chairul described intuition as a rational judgment shaped by knowledge and personal experience. The eighth is making decisions and seeking solutions instead of focusing on problems.
Balancing Pragmatism and Idealism
Chairul’s ninth principle is balancing pragmatism and idealism. He said personal benefits and broader social interests should work together rather than stand apart.
Finally, the tenth principle is seeking God’s blessings. Chairul emphasized that success should begin with good intentions, continued effort, and a pursuit of meaningful blessings.
