Swan.my.id - Jakarta, the Oppo F35 series and Vivo V80 are among the October 2026 phones expected to arrive this month. Oppo has scheduled the F35 and F35 Pro to debut in India on October 5, while Vivo has confirmed the V80 will launch there during the first week of October.
The two launches follow a busy September, when the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone Duo and Honor Magic 9 entered the smartphone market. October is also expected to bring new devices from other manufacturers, including a foldable phone, although some vendors have yet to announce their plans.
Oppo’s upcoming pair is expected to cover two price points, while Vivo is highlighting the V80’s display, cameras and battery. Here are the announced schedules and available details for both lineups.
Oppo F35 Series: Two Models and Shared Battery Capacity
Oppo plans to introduce the F35 series in India on October 5, 2026. The range will include the standard Oppo F35 and the Oppo F35 Pro. Their reported chipsets differ: the F35 is said to use a Dimensity 6360, while the Pro model is expected to use a Dimensity 7360 Max.
The phones are also reported to share a 50-megapixel main rear camera and a 50-megapixel selfie camera. Their secondary rear cameras differ, however. The F35 Pro is expected to pair its main camera with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, while the standard F35 is said to have a 2-megapixel depth camera.
Both models are expected to feature 8,000 mAh batteries and support 80W fast charging. These shared capacities set the two models apart from the Vivo V80’s listed battery specification, though the available information does not include a direct performance comparison.
Reported Indian pricing for the Oppo F35 with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage is around 37,999 rupees, or approximately Rp 7.1 million. The F35 Pro with the same memory and storage configuration is estimated at 44,000 to 50,000 rupees, equivalent to around Rp 8.2 million to Rp 9.3 million. These figures are estimates, not confirmed retail prices.
Vivo V80 Highlights Its Display and Zeiss Cameras
Vivo has confirmed that the V80 will launch in India during the first week of October 2026. The phone is expected to have a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
For imaging, Vivo is working with Zeiss on a three-camera rear system. The reported setup includes a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony LYTIA 700V sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor, and an ultrawide camera. The front camera is listed at 50 megapixels.
The V80 is also expected to carry a 7,200 mAh battery with 90W fast charging. It will run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 from its first use, according to the available product details.
What the October Launch Details Show
The announced schedules place both Oppo and Vivo launches in India during the first week of October. Oppo has given a specific debut date for its two-model F35 range, while Vivo has confirmed a launch window for the V80.
The published specifications point to different areas of emphasis: Oppo lists large batteries and distinct chipset options across the F35 models, while Vivo’s V80 details include a high-refresh-rate OLED display and a Zeiss-branded camera system. Pricing estimates are available for the Oppo models, but no V80 price is included in the announced information.
Some specifications and prices remain reported or estimated rather than confirmed. Further details may clarify those points as the launch dates approach.
