Swan.my.id — Jakarta - Pluang has announced an adjustment to its crypto trading fees, covering both Crypto Spot and Crypto Futures transactions. The changes include a lower fee for Crypto Spot trading and a higher transaction fee for Crypto Futures.

Pluang Crypto Fees Change for Spot and Futures Trading

The new fee structure will take effect on different dates. The Crypto Futures adjustment starts on September 25, 2026, while the lower Crypto Spot fee will apply from October 1, 2026.

For users who actively trade digital assets, the changes may affect the cost of entering and exiting positions. Because of that, traders are advised to review the fee details displayed before confirming each transaction.

Pluang Crypto Fees for Crypto Spot Trading

Starting October 1, 2026, Pluang will reduce the CFX fee for all Crypto Spot transactions. The adjustment applies to both buying and selling transactions conducted through the Pluang application.

Under the new structure, the CFX fee will fall from 0.01% to 0.005%. The applicable VAT component will also decrease from 0.0011% to 0.00055%.

As a result, the total CFX-related cost will decline from 0.0111% to 0.00555%.

Crypto Spot Fee Before From Oct. 1, 2026
CFX Fee 0.01% 0.005%
VAT 0.0011% 0.00055%
Total CFX Fee 0.0111% 0.00555%

The reduction applies across all Crypto Spot transactions on Pluang. It covers transactions made through both Lite and Pro modes, including maker and taker orders.

For active Spot traders, the lower fee means the CFX component of transaction costs will be reduced. However, traders should still check the complete cost shown on the platform because the total expense of a transaction can depend on the applicable trading conditions and other charges.

Crypto Futures Transaction Fees Increase

Meanwhile, Pluang is increasing its transaction fees for Crypto Futures. The new structure takes effect on September 25, 2026.

According to the announcement, the adjustment is intended to align Crypto Futures transaction fees with costs in Indonesia's crypto industry. The change applies to all Crypto Futures order types, including both maker and taker orders.

The CFX fee will increase from 0.1% to 0.108108%. At the same time, the VAT component will rise from 0.011% to 0.011892%.

The resulting total transaction fee will increase from 0.111% to 0.12%.

Crypto Futures Fee Before From Sept. 25, 2026
CFX Fee 0.1% 0.108108%
VAT 0.011% 0.011892%
Total Transaction Fee 0.111% 0.12%

The change applies to all Crypto Futures orders. In addition, Pluang says the Margin Maintenance value for existing and future positions will experience a slight increase as a consequence of the higher transaction fee.

This point is particularly relevant for traders who use leveraged positions. A change in transaction costs can affect the amount of margin required to maintain an open position, depending on the applicable trading conditions.

What the New Pluang Crypto Fees Mean for Traders

The latest adjustment creates two different fee directions across Pluang's crypto products. Crypto Spot trading will become cheaper, while Crypto Futures trading will carry a higher transaction cost.

For Spot users, the CFX fee reduction could lower the cost associated with buying and selling crypto assets. However, the actual impact will depend on transaction size and trading frequency.

For Futures users, the increase from 0.111% to 0.12% in total transaction fees represents a higher cost for each applicable transaction. Traders who frequently open and close positions should therefore pay attention to how fees affect their overall trading expenses.

Meanwhile, the higher Margin Maintenance requirement should also be considered when managing Futures positions. Traders may need to monitor their available margin more closely after the new fee structure takes effect.

Check Trading Costs Before Confirming Orders

Pluang advises users to review the fee information displayed before confirming transactions. This is especially important because trading costs can influence the final result of a strategy.

Besides transaction fees, traders should understand the difference between Spot and Futures products. Spot trading involves buying or selling digital assets, while Futures trading involves derivative contracts and can involve leverage and additional risks.

However, lower fees do not automatically mean higher returns. Similarly, higher fees do not determine whether a particular trading strategy will generate a profit or loss. Market movements, position size, trading frequency, and risk management remain important factors.

Because of that, traders should consider transaction costs as part of their overall trading plan rather than looking only at the advertised fee percentage.

Pluang Emphasizes Fee Transparency

Pluang said the adjustment is part of its commitment to maintaining transparency and complying with applicable taxation requirements in Indonesia.

The company also reminds users to check the transaction details available on the platform before placing an order. This allows users to understand the applicable costs based on the product and order type they are using.

For questions regarding the new fee structure, Pluang provides customer support through Pluang Care 24/7. Users can contact the service through email at tanya@pluang.com or through the call center at (021) 80630065 during working days, Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00 WIB.

Overall, the latest Pluang Crypto Fees update introduces a lower CFX cost for Crypto Spot transactions and a higher transaction cost for Crypto Futures. The two adjustments take effect on different dates, making it important for users to check the applicable fee before trading.
