Swan.my.id - Jakarta — Pluang is updating its Crypto Spot and Crypto Futures Fees as part of a new adjustment to its digital asset trading costs in Indonesia. The changes affect both spot crypto transactions and crypto futures trading, with different effective dates for each product.
Starting September 25, 2026, Pluang will increase transaction fees for Crypto Futures. Meanwhile, users trading Crypto Spot will receive a lower CFX fee starting October 1, 2026.
The latest adjustment means crypto users on Pluang will face different cost structures depending on the type of product they trade. The company said the changes are intended to align Crypto Futures transaction costs with industry fees while making Crypto Spot trading more affordable.
Pluang Lowers Crypto Spot Fees
The most significant reduction applies to Pluang's Crypto Spot transactions. Starting October 1, the CFX fee for Crypto Spot transactions will fall from 0.01% to 0.005%.
The change applies to all Crypto Spot transactions conducted through the Pluang application. It covers both buying and selling activity, as well as transactions made through Lite and Pro modes.
The new fee structure is as follows:
- CFX fee: 0.005%, down from 0.01%
- VAT: 0.00055%, down from 0.0011%
- Total CFX fee: 0.00555%, down from 0.0111%
As a result, the total CFX-related cost will be reduced by half compared with the previous structure.
The adjustment applies to both maker and taker orders. Therefore, users do not need to use a specific trading mode to receive the lower Crypto Spot fee.
For active traders, transaction costs can become an important consideration because repeated purchases and sales may accumulate fees over time. The lower rate could therefore reduce the direct CFX cost associated with each eligible Crypto Spot transaction.
Crypto Futures Fees Increase
While Crypto Spot users will receive lower fees, Crypto Futures users will see the opposite change.
Effective September 25, 2026, Pluang will increase its Crypto Futures transaction fee from 0.111% to 0.12%. The adjustment applies to all order types, including maker and taker transactions.
The revised structure consists of:
- CFX fee: 0.108108%, up from 0.1%
- VAT: 0.011892%, up from 0.011%
- Total transaction fee: 0.12%, up from 0.111%
According to Pluang, the adjustment is intended to maintain its service while aligning Crypto Futures transaction costs with the crypto industry in Indonesia.
The increase is relatively small in percentage terms. However, traders using leverage or opening positions frequently should still account for the revised transaction cost when planning their trades.
Pluang also noted that the change will affect the Maintenance Margin for positions. Existing open positions and future positions may experience a slight increase in Maintenance Margin because of the higher transaction fee.
What Crypto Traders Need to Know
The different effective dates are important for users who trade both Crypto Spot and Crypto Futures.
The Crypto Futures fee adjustment takes effect on September 25, 2026. The Crypto Spot fee reduction follows on October 1, 2026.
This creates two separate changes within a short period. Users should therefore check the applicable fee before confirming each transaction.
Transaction costs can affect the final result of a trading strategy, especially for frequent traders. Even a relatively small percentage can become more noticeable when transaction volume increases.
For Crypto Futures traders, the new 0.12% total transaction fee should be included when calculating potential trading costs. Traders should also consider the effect of the updated Maintenance Margin requirements when managing open positions.
Meanwhile, Crypto Spot users will benefit from a lower CFX fee under the new structure. The reduction applies across both Lite and Pro trading modes and covers maker and taker orders.
Why Trading Fees Matter
Trading fees are one of several costs that investors and traders should consider before entering a position. Other factors may include spreads, taxes, funding-related costs, market volatility, and potential price movements.
For spot transactions, traders generally buy or sell the underlying crypto asset. Crypto Futures, meanwhile, involve derivative contracts and can carry additional risks, particularly when leverage is involved.
Because of these differences, the impact of a fee adjustment can vary between users. A long-term Crypto Spot investor may encounter transaction fees less frequently than an active Futures trader who opens and closes multiple positions.
Therefore, users should review the latest fee information based on the product they use rather than assuming the same rate applies across all crypto services.
Pluang Reminds Users to Check Costs Before Trading
Pluang advises users to review the transaction details displayed in the application before confirming an order. This is particularly relevant during periods when fee structures are being updated.
The company also stated that it remains committed to complying with Indonesian tax regulations and maintaining transparency in its transactions.
Users with further questions can contact Pluang Care through its available customer service channels during the stated operating hours.
The latest changes highlight an important distinction in Pluang's crypto offering. Crypto Spot fees are being reduced, while Crypto Futures transaction fees are increasing. The two adjustments take effect on different dates and apply to different trading products.
For users, understanding the applicable fee before placing an order can help provide a clearer picture of the total transaction cost. However, fees are only one consideration when evaluating a crypto transaction, as digital assets remain subject to market volatility and the possibility of losses.
Investors and traders should therefore consider their own financial circumstances, risk tolerance, and trading objectives before making any transaction.
