Suzuki XL7 2026 Combines Seven Seats with Hybrid and Non-Hybrid Options

Swan.my.id - Jakarta, Suzuki has introduced the New XL7 for 2026 with three variant options: Alpha Hybrid, Beta Hybrid, and Zeta. The seven-seat SUV receives interior updates, a 9-inch infotainment display across all variants, and additional equipment on selected trims.

The XL7’s three-row cabin accommodates up to seven occupants. Its flexible seating and storage areas can support family routines, from daily errands to longer trips, although the available equipment differs by variant.

The updated range includes two hybrid versions and one non-hybrid option. Buyers can compare their preferred powertrain and features when choosing between the Alpha Hybrid, Beta Hybrid, and Zeta.

All variants now feature a 9-inch Display Audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also uses sound-processing software from Arkamys. Drivers and passengers can connect a smartphone for navigation and entertainment.

Suzuki has also refreshed the interior. Every variant receives an instrument-panel ornament with a Metallic Hagane Dark Silver accent, while the Alpha Hybrid and Beta Hybrid gain updated steering-wheel garnish.

Equipment varies across the range. The Beta Hybrid includes automatic climate control and armrests in the front and second rows. The Alpha Hybrid adds cruise control and an E-Mirror touchscreen, along with other visibility and safety equipment.

Alpha Hybrid adds driver-support equipment

The Alpha Hybrid includes a 360 View Camera that uses four cameras positioned around the vehicle. Its camera views can help drivers monitor the surroundings while maneuvering or parking. The variant also comes with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Its E-Mirror touchscreen uses a digital camera to show the area behind the vehicle. The Alpha Hybrid also includes a Digital Video Recorder (DVR). These features sit alongside safety equipment such as Dual SRS Airbags, ABS with EBD, an immobilizer, childproof door locks, and ISOFIX. Hill Hold Control and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) are available on selected variants.

Engine, dimensions, and powertrain choices

The XL7 measures 4,450 mm long, 1,775 mm wide, and 1,710 mm high. Its wheelbase is 2,740 mm, and ground clearance measures 200 mm. These dimensions accompany its three-row layout and SUV design.

Every variant uses a 1,462 cc K15B four-cylinder petrol engine. It produces a maximum output of 105 PS and 138 Nm of torque. The Alpha Hybrid and Beta Hybrid pair the engine with Suzuki’s Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) system, which uses an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and a lithium-ion battery.

The Zeta is the non-hybrid choice. Suzuki offers manual and automatic transmissions on some variants, giving buyers another option to consider when comparing the range.

A flexible option for family activities

Three rows provide seating for up to seven people, while the cabin’s storage areas, cup holders, and available armrests support everyday use. The cooling system and infotainment display also contribute to cabin convenience. Meanwhile, the 9-inch screen supports smartphone connectivity for navigation during trips.

Overall, the New XL7 retains its seven-seat SUV format while adding cabin updates and equipment. The 9-inch display is standard across the range, whereas features such as the E-Mirror, 360 View Camera, TPMS, and DVR distinguish the Alpha Hybrid. Buyers can weigh those differences alongside the hybrid and non-hybrid choices.
